Curse (のろい, Noroi?) also known as Curs (のろい, Noroi, or Curse, ?) is a spell that causes the affected character to dodge attacks less and decreases the chances of landing a critical hit. The Curse will remain on the character until it is removed with an item or spell.
Breath of Fire[]
In this game, Curs is a spell that is only used by enemies. It inflicts the status "Curs". A enemy cannot inflict curs if the target is already poisoned or a zombie. It can be healed by a Charm item or the Heal spell.
Breath of Fire II[]
Similar to the previous installment, in this game, Curse is a spell that is only used by enemies. When it hits the target it inflicts the "Curse" status which is represented by a greyish ghost like icon over the target's head.
Breath of Fire IV[]
Curse (呪爆, Ju Baku?) "Curse Bomb" is an enemy skill that can be learned by player characters. When used, it potentially reduces all enemies' HP by half. It can be learned from Angler and Poppy.
