Expedition is a song that appears in the original Breath of Fire. After Bleu joins the party, this song replaces Distant View as the music that plays while traversing the overworld. It is itself later replaced by The Journey Begins - Breath of Fire, once the events in the towers north of Agua have been completed.
Lead composer Yasuaki Fujita credited himself as the composer of this track on his personal blog.[1]
The Breath of Fire Promotion VTR features the original version of the song before it was down-sampled for the Super NES.
