Utsurowazarumono - Breath of Fire IV is a five volume manga series released in 2008 and based upon the events of Breath of Fire IV. It was written and illustrated by Ichimura Hitoshi.

Volume 1 spans from the events such as Cray and Nina's Sandflier getting destroyed by the Sand Dragon to them finding Ryu (Breath of Fire IV) to when Fou-Lu is saved by Bunyan.

Volume 2 starts off where volume 1 ended with Fou-Lu waking up in Bunyan's care. Fou-Lu then leaves only to be confronted by Yohm and gets taken down by a Khafu while trying to escape.
The Volume ends with Ryu, Cray, Nina, and Ershin finding their way to Chek in an effort to find out more about Ryu. Instead, they learn that Ershin is really one of the Endless.
Volume 3[]

The Volume continues with everyone learning the truth about Ershin, that a Endless is trapped inside the armor of its body. Ryu, Nina, and Cray enter Ershin's heart to find the Endless trapped inside who is named Deis. She asks for a host so she can leave Ershin's body. Rhem, Chek's best medium, is called upon to undertake the task. Deis is summoned and explains what's going on with Ryu.
The Volume ends with Fou-Lu escaping Yohm by crawling out the back of Mami's house through her broken oven. Although he successfully escapes, Yohm takes Mami prisoner.
