Strategy[]

Manmo is decently tough, but not as tough as some previous bosses. Quake and his reprisal rate are the only true concerns, though Howling can cause some problems. The simplest, easiest, and most effective tactic is to fight brawn with brawn by using the Miracle and ??? Genes to become Behemoth and constantly strike it with Meteor Strike. This way you'll be effectively immune to Howling, Quake will do moderate to low damage, and any physical attacks won't do much damage. With this you should defeat Manmo within five or so turns. If you decide to fight head-on without Accession, then have Ryu use ample amounts of Shield and keep his AP ready to heal, while primarily using physical attacks. If Nina is in your party, have her use Iceblast, Magic Ball, and/or Mind Sword. She can also use any wide-ranged healing items such as Vitamins, Spearfish, and Whales if needed, as her Agility should be high enough to outrun Manmo. If using Rei, Weretiger is very effective. If using Momo, start off with some rounds of Might on any heavy-hitting character, including herself, then follow it up with physical attacks, while healing when needed. Garr should stick to physical attacks, possibly enhanced by Focus, but if he has Gambit, it's not a bad idea to try it, as it can deal some heavy damage if it hits. Peco should use physical attacks, occasionally using his breath attacks like Frost Breath and Dream Breath.
