Mt. Boumore is a location in Breath of Fire III. Although the map marker indicates that Boumore is a single mountain, its appearance on the overworld indicates that Mt. Boumore is actually either the name of a single peak in a larger mountain range, or the name of the mountain range itself.
Having escaped from Fahl, who was watching the party under Balio and Sunder's command, Ryu and Nina flee into Mt. Boumore. The party makes their way to the top of the mountain and meets a group of quarry men, including a foreman called Mason (or perhaps, he is in fact a stone Mason). They are quarrying stone from the mountain, then transporting it via cable car across the mountain range. Seemingly sympathetic to the children's plight, Mason allows them to rest in the hut for the night with the promise of taking them to safety in the morning.
When the party wakes up they realize the door is locked, they can hear Sunder, and they realize that Mason has betrayed them, either working for - or too afraid of - Balio and Sunder. In order to save themselves, they exit through the other door and see a cable car. Nina realizes she can use her magical abilities as a source of energy in order to get the cable car to work. They avoid Sunder and escape to another peak. They make it to the top of the mountain, where they are cornered again by Sunder. As a last resort, they jump off the mountain and roll down to the bottom. Fortunately, Ryu unlocks the Defender gene and transforms into a whelp, breaking Nina's fall. Nina thanks him and they escape and head toward the Tower.
