Strategy Edit

On their own or in groups of themselves, Volts aren't very dangerous. Their Charge attack does very little and often misses. However, when partnered up with a Thunder, then they can be dangerous. Thunders will always use Jolt on themselves and Volts, powering them up, which also increases their EXP gain. The Volts will then start using their own Jolt spell, but fortunately only have enough AP for one shot, but when in clusters it can be difficult to walk away unscathed. The Simoon spell is quite potent against Volts, able to kill them in one shot, and Typhoon is also very powerful against them. If one is equipped with the Silver Knife, then destroying both Volts and Thunders becomes extremely easy, as they have a weakness to Holy, which is the basis of the Silver Knife, killing both in one shot apiece, regardless of the player's Power.
